@ Momarco Forest Cove Resort & Hotel! ❤

Our flight bound for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was delayed due to a typhoon so we opted to spend New Year's eve here at our home country and decided to have our trip to Rizal Province, particularly in Tanay. And so, we booked at Momarco Forest Cove Resort and Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days.

On our way to the resort, the road is soooo muddy and rocky, with only few lights along the road so it's quite dark and pretty scary. At the back of our mind, we are asking ourselves, what is this place? Should we just go back and find other resort?  But we were so amazed when we reached our destination, it was all worth it!

Since we dropped by at Pililla Windfarm before we go to the resort, we arrived there at around 8pm of Dec. 30, 2016, Rizal Day.

Their restaurant is open only until 8pm so we have no choice but to eat at their bar. We are not disappointed because their Nachos is sooo good and their Green Mango Shake is the real deal.

We just took a rest at our room for the night. We booked a Regular AC Room. The booking price is cheap but it's nice. There is a Queen Size Bed, a shower and a toilet, a cabinet and a small table with 2 chairs. There is also a mirror and towels and toiletries provided. Outside is a balcony with chairs and tables and a griller. I think this room's location is much okay since it is far from the bar which has loud music and KTV.

In the morning of Dec 31, 2016, we went swimming! The pool is huge and the view is amazing! Aside from the pool they also have a man-made falls and lagoon!

Their adult swimming pool is huge!
Aside from the adult pool, they also have a kiddie pool with fountain and a mini playground.

There are also cottages near the pool area where you can relax and chill.

We had our lunch at their Lanai Restaurant. We ordered their Pork Sisig which is a bit salty but good, Spicy BBQ Squid and Garlic Rice with Iced Tea.

Restaurant ambiance
After our siesta we had instant noodles which we bring along with us for merienda and then we had Spaghetti with Meatballs and Clubhouse with Fries for dinner also at the Lanai Restaurant.

On new year's eve we just had our alone time at one of the cottages there while there is a live duo singing acoustic music. They are also offering unlimited cocktails for only 200 pesos.

We met these lovely singing duo and found out that they are actually husband and wife!

We went to the bar at around 11pm and then we had some chitchat with the Manager Chris, he is very nice. Since we do not drink alcohol, we do not avail their unlimited cocktail promo, they gave us a shot of red wine instead which is free for guests!

When midnight strikes there was a fireworks display and we all greeted each other a Happy New Year.

Chris invited us over to their media noche along with the owner and some staff on duty and their VIP guests. First time to taste Turkey! The owner of the resort is so kind and treat their staff as part of their family, so sweet!

The next morning, Jan. 1, 2017, the first day of the year, we hiked around the resort and inside the forest, we found their reservoir and then on the other side of the forest we found the caged monkeys, eagles and ostrich.

In their Sports Center where there is a Tennis and Basketball Court, we played basketball! Chris is kind enough to lend us a ball. It was soo cool.

There is also a park, playground and a Bike Trail.

They also have a mini zoo. As per Chris, the resort area is 10 heactares out of 82-hectare property, wow!

There are some snakes like this shy one, hehe!

How about picture-taking with Marco?

We had an Al Fresco Lunch, and we ordered Beef Kare Kare, Steamed Rice, Iced Tea and Pineapple Juice.

In the afternoon, we swim again but only at around 8pm because it was too cold. We also took lots of instagram-worthy shots!

We stayed in the bar for the night and we just have a good chitchat with their bar tenders Moi and Jun. We ordered my yab's favorite Nachos and Cheese Logs and also Virgin Colada. Jun gave us a Complimentary Drink named After Glow. Also that night we met two of the consultants of the resort, Arwin and Glenn.

Jan. 2, 2017, our last morning in the resort, we had Tapsilog and Tocilog for breakfast. Then we left the resort hoping to come back soon and visit other nearby attractions!
